Yes. From all the money they were suppose to have gotten Mr Bean should be able to retire I would assume.
Another odd thing about this story is....well why this is a story. If they are thinking about firing him because his disability is running out that does not sound right. Disability is insurance so you get paid when you cannot work. There is no statute that says you need to return to work once your insurance payments run out. The employer could terminate employment before that.
Since Mr Bean was never interviewed this looks like a cover story for something. What exactly I don't know. I could see Mr Bean going to the newspaper and telling them of his situation but it's odd that this story seems to be pushed by the union.- comment from godlikeproductions.com

Officer Bean apparently lost no time and opened up a donation raising 'fund' for himself after the Sandy Hook incident just like all the other suspect family members of the alleged victims.This in my opinion was a pre-meditated act on all their parts.It was - until Sandy Hook - almost unheard of for a whole community that appears from its Wall Street ties to be one of the more affluent places in America after the stok market collapse of 2008 - to immediately begin raising donations for themselves overnight if not before as some allege that Sandy Hook family members of teachers and students had websites up even in advance of the efewnt !John Hancock and JP Morgan corp whore Nancy Lanza and GE Capital's Peter Lanza may or may not have had a son named Adam whose rampage led to 20+ students being blown away on December 14,2013.No one has ever claimed to have seen him driving a car in Newtown before that day id indeed the saw him at all !
Interesting that Officer Thomas Bean was off duty at the time and just happened of his own initiative to wander over and get into the action that day before or after Adam Lanza alledgedly shot himself.He may be the off duty officer that the Newtown Bee reported to have been found in back of the Sandy Hook Elementary School that day and incorrectly reportered as being from out of town ?

Town officials have notified a Newtown police officer who hasn't returned to work since responding to the Dec. 14 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that he could be fired.
Thomas Bean, a 12-year veteran, submitted a two-sentence letter from his doctor indicating that he suffered from post traumatic stress disorder because of the horrific scene he encountered inside the school, where 20 first graders and six adults were shot to death.
Bean, who was off duty on Dec. 14, responded to the school and entered at least one of the classrooms where children were killed.
In a June letter to Bean, Chief Michael Kehoe wrote that he received notice that Bean is "100 percent permanently disabled from performing the essential functions of your job as a police officer."

He is in the odd position of having had a probate hearing to discuss how to divvy his belongings, even as his assessor's license was somehow renewed. I hold out hope that the man is alive (though possibly penniless).

Maybe going public on his way out of the game. . It's his way off putting a couple chips on the insurance line.....
Probably another charity trap so that some poor sap out there sets up a charity in Bean's honour, and raises millions so he'll never have to work another day in his life. Of course, that's not where the money would really go.............

Obviously he never saw dead children. He got paid off. Simple as that..
I hope this story gathers steam. Maybe they will bring back the whole cast of characters.....
