Wound Healing Activity Of Alcoholic Extract Of Mutamba "GUAZUMA ULMIFOLIA\"
Mutamba or Guatzuma Ulmifolia or caolote as it is called by the few who know it in Guatemala, appears to have certain wound healing properties that New Zealand's manuca honey from a plant containing very large quantities of a Methylglyoxal precursor molecule that turns to Methylglyoxal in the honey. This appears to in fact perturb wound healing that New Zealand honey is praised for since Rupert Murdoch's Fox News began to promote it as a semi miracuklous wound whealer in Iraq after lieingt us into that City of London,Israeli trap based upon lies about Saddam Hussein's mass destruction and insinuations(lies) about Iraq (And NOT Israel and Saudi Arabia of course whose governments' both did play a role in 911) having played a role in 911.

ABSTRACT
The alcoholic extract of Guazuma ulmifolia was evaluated for their wound healing activity in Albino Wistar rats using chemically induced wound model. The experimental animals were chemically burned by conc HCL (80%), and then divided into four groups, control, standard (Nitrofurazone 0.2% w/w), low dose (125 mg/kg) and high dose (250mg/kg). The reepithelialization was evaluated by the reducing width of wounds for seven days. It was observed that the alcoholic extract showed re-epithelialization faster when compared with control. The extract also showed significant wound healing activity when compared with standard. The present results support that the use of alcoholic leaf extract of Guazuma ulmifolia in topical skin care and healing wounds.
