VIENNA, Va., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- MVSI, Inc. (Nasdaq: MVSI - news) today announced that its Board of Directors
has approved a change in the Company's name to ''Socrates Technologies'' and a change in the Company's ticker symbol to
''SOCT,'' effective upon and subject to stockholder and other approvals. ''Socrates Technologies'' is the name of the
Company's major information technology (IT) subsidiary. Technet Computer Services, Inc., the Company's other major
subsidiary, will retain its name and remain as the custom software development subsidiary of the Company.
Socrates Technologies/MVSI CEO Abbas Fathi said: ''The time has come to redefine our corporate identity with a name that
better captures our vision and has a strong market presence. 'Socrates Technologies' is a recognized brand name throughout the
MidAtlantic region as a result of an ongoing promotional campaign consisting of television and print ads, direct mail and displays
at major entertainment venues like the MCI Center in downtown Washington, D.C. The new name is indicative of the current,
primary business focus of the Company: IT services and products, especially technology training for IT professionals, network
