Hill, a recurring political commentator on CNN, had called for "a single secular democratic state for everyone" in a meeting at the UN marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on Wednesday, with a "free Palestine from the river to the sea".

The ADL said the "river to the sea" phrase was code for the destruction of Israel, adding that the annual UN event promoted "divisiveness and hate".
According to the Jewish Voice for Peace, "while the ADL markets itself as a civil rights organisation, its history betrays an extensive record of anti-Arab, anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian advocacy"............

Media personality Mehdi Hasan questioned how CNN could fire Hill while keeping onboard Rick Santorum, who has denied Palestinians exist in the West Bank. Hasan hosts UpFront, a popular news affairs show on Al Jazeera English...............

CNN severs ties with liberal pundit Marc Lamont Hill after his controversial remarks on Israel

The move was first reported by the media news website Mediaite.
Hill, who is also a professor at Temple University in Philadelphia, made the controversial comments during a meeting at the United Nations held for the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on Wednesday.
In his remarks at that meeting, Hill said "we must advocate and promote non-violence," but added that "we cannot endorse a narrow politics of respectability that shames Palestinians for resisting, for refusing to do nothing in the face of state violence and ethnic cleansing."
Hill also called for a "free Palestine from the river to the sea."
The comments were immediately condemned by critics who said Hill was calling for the end of the Israeli state.
Hill did not respond to a request for comment Thursday afternoon, but in a series of tweets he addressed the issue.
"I do not support anti-Semitism, killing Jewish people, or any of the other things attributed to my speech. I have spent my life fighting these things," Hill wrote.
"My reference to 'river to the sea' was not a call to destroy anything or anyone," Hill continued in a separate tweet. "It was a call for justice, both in Israel and in the West Bank/Gaza. The speech very clearly and specifically said those things. No amount of debate will change what I actually said or what I meant."
This was not the first time Hill has come under fire.
In October, a 2016 photo that Hill took with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, an unabashed anti-Semite, resurfaced. At the time, Hill said he disagreed with Farrakhan on certain issues and that the two discussed "many things" in their meeting, including "the question of anti-Semitism in depth" and LGBTQ issues.
"Although I disagree with the Minister on those important issues, I will not allow that to be an excuse for allowing dishonest media or poorly intentioned observers to create unnecessary division," Hill tweeted at the time. "I will not be told who to speak to, sit with, or engage."....................

          MYSTERIOUS HOLOCAUST

          RECKONINGS by Mary Fulbrook

          According to the official story:

          1. The Nazis murdered 6 million people in the death camps.

          2. Up to a million Nazis were involved in carrying out these killings in the death camps.

          3. Only 6,656 Nazis were convicted of carrying out these killings.

          4. "The overwhelming majority of those involved in the murder of an estimated six million men, women and children were either never brought to justice or were dealt with so leniently that it amounted to an insult to the victims...

"Out of a total of 172,294 participants prosecuted, only 6,656 were convicted.

"And the overwhelming majority of those actually found guilty received sentences of less than two years’ imprisonment."

Prisoners at the Dachau Concentration camp.

The International Red Cross reported in 1946 that of registered Jewish camp inmates no more than 300,000 could have died.

Their audit to December 31, 1984 records a total 282,077 registered deaths of all internees in all German Concentration Camps from all causes.

After the war, the fascists in Germany were protected by their fellow fascists in Israel, the USA, South America, Germany and elsewhere.
          A Nazi concentration camp.

"There were only two known survivors of the Belzec extermination camp, where an estimated half a million people died.

"One of those survivors was killed in suspicious circumstances before he could give evidence.

"Only one person, Josef Oberhauser, was convicted, in Munich in 1965, in connection with this mass slaughter."

In 1966, Walter Thormeyer, of the Nazi SS, was put on trial for killing civilians, and received a 12 year jail sentence.

Walter Thormeyer had a Jewish mistress.

The al-Dawayima massacre was the killing of Palestinian civilians by the Israeli army in 1948

In the Deir Yassin massacre, Israelis murdered Palestinians.

"A young fellow was tied to a tree and set on fire.

"Girls were lined up against a wall and shot with a submachine gun."

The International Committee of the Red Cross produced a report on its Activities during the Second World War, (Geneva, 1948)

It found no evidence at the concentration camps in Nazi occupied Europe of a deliberate policy to exterminate the Jews.

In the 1,600 pages of this three volume Report there is no mention any gas chambers.

          1943 Holocaust in India.

There are many witnesses who have testified that people were gassed in Nazi gas chambers.

The gas chamber issue is controversial.

At  Auschwitz, there was a massive disinfestation complex where Zyklon B gas was used daily to combat lice and the disease they carried.

"These were the real gas chambers except their victimes were clothing and mattresses, and their purpose was to preserve the health of the inmates."

The director of the Auschwitz State Museum Dr. Franciszek Piper, announced that the so-called gas chamber had been fabricated by the Soviets AFTER the war.

The International Red Cross reported in 1946 that of registered Jewish camp inmates no more than 300,000 could have died, and their audit to December 31, 1984 records a total 282,077 registered deaths of all internees in all German Concentration Camps from all causes.

Time Magazine reported that at Bergen-Belsen 20,000 died of typhus during the single month of March, 1945.

Was there Really a Holocaust? - Bible Believers

The World Almanac for 1947 states that back in 1939 the world Jewish population was 15,688,259.

In 1948, the world Jewish population amounted to "18,700,000 in addition to the 600,000 to 700,000 living in Palestine."

There were no more than 4 million Jews at most living in areas occupied by the Third Reich at the height of its power.

Yet on June 30, 1965, the West German government announced that some 3,375,000 Jewish holocaust "survivors" had applied for reparations money.

Was there Really a Holocaust? - Bible Believers

Reinhard Heydrich, the mastermind of the Holocaust, is believed to have been Jewish.

Walter Schellenberg in his Memoirs (p. 207) writes: "Canaris told me after Heydrich's death that he possessed proof of Heydrich's Jewish ancestry."

"When Heydrich was a child in Halle, neighborhood children made fun of him, calling him "Isi" (Izzy), short for Isidor, a name with a Jewish connotation.

"When he served in the navy, many of his comrades believed he was Jewish. Some called him the "blond Moses."

"Others who lived in Halle have claimed that everybody believed that his father, the musician Bruno Heydrich, was a Jew.

"Half-Jew Alice Schaper nee Rohr, who took piano lessons from Bruno, claimed, "We all knew he was Jewish. ...He looked just like a typical Jew."

"In town, Bruno was called Isidor Suess behind his back. With such rumors going around, it was not surprising that Heydrich felt continually burdened by these allegations, especially when he served as an SS general."

          - Bryan Mark Rigg, the author of Hitler's Jewish Soldiers

          Adolf Eichmann

"Eichmann had Jewish friends, was employed by Jews as an oil and kerosene salesman, had Jewish relatives by marriage."

In 1939, Adolf Eichmann desribed himself as a Zionist.

Adolph Eichmann went to Palestine in 1937 to negotiate a homeland for the Jews.

Jewish historian David Cesarani, in Eichmann: His Life and Crimes, states that as a child Eichmann was persecuted because he looked Jewish.

Eichmann's stepmother had Jewish relations and Eichman associated with Jews.

Eichmann learned Hebrew, visited Palestine and worked closely with Zionists preparing Jews for emigration. (eichmann was jewish hurricane katrina was a regional)

          Propaganda lies.
Israel was alerted to Eichmann's presence in Argentina in 1957, by Fritz Bauer, a Jewish prosecutor in Germany.

Bauer had been tipped off by Lothar Hermann, a Jew in Argentina, whose daughter, Sylvia, had become friends with Eichmann's son.

          Bauer alerted the Israeli authorities.

          But Mossad closed the case!

"Only when Bauer insisted did Isser Harel, director of the Israeli spy agency Mossad, dispatch an agent to Argentina to verify the claim.

"Even then there was a delay of four months - in the 1950s the Israeli security... devoted not a single officer exclusively to the business of Nazi hunting."

The Mossad agent met Hermann and insisted on being given fingerprint and identity card evidence; this was not possible.

Mossad closed the case for a second time.

On the left, we see Himmler, and on the right we see his body double.

          Reportedly, Himmler had Jewish roots.

Himmler's grandparents were Johan Himmler and Agathe Kien.

Himmler's SS cooperated with the Haganah, the Zionist underground military organization in British-run Palestine.

Katrin Himmler, the great-niece of Heinrich Himmler, married an Israeli.

The top German Nazis were 'Jewish', and were linked to an international cabal.

Thousands of top Nazis are reported to have moved to Argentina after World War II.

These include Martin Bormann, Josef Mengele, Klaus Barbie, Adolf Eichmann, Erich Priebke, Walter Kutschmann, Jose Schwammberger, Ante Pavelic, Walter Rauff, and Eduard Roschmann.

As someone who actually worked in the space for the last 27 years, I’m going to go against the answer trend here and say no, I don’t think they would.
The gap between the leaders in algorithmic trading world and their competition, is not a greater knowledge of algorithms or technology. The intelligence gap is in regard to their knowledge of how the financial markets work.
Technology and at the applied math that make up algorithmic trading is fairly commoditized. The people who know it all learn it in the same schools in the same way. Once you get out into the area of math theory there is a lot of differentiation between individual contributors, but little of that can be applied to the financial markets.
If google got into the space, they’d have a whole bunch of very smart people who don’t know the first thing about how markets really work. They’d know all the math and tech, but none of that would make them better than the people already doing it.
If you think the really innovative thinking about markets is occurring in the halls of academia (or for that matter could be replicated by google), then you don’t really understand the space. For the last 15 years or so, the really breakthrough thinking in finance has all come from the private sector. And when they come up with a new theory that proves out, they have every interest in preventing anyone else from learning it.
The team at google can’t learn it in school - no one can. The only place you learn it is by working for a leader in the space. And even then, you only learn what your own firm knows. You remain blind to what everyone else knows. So if google were going to get into the space they’d have to do it by buying the talent from the existing leaders. Their role as a tech leader wouldn’t give them any advantage.
Google has a lot of access to cheap capital, so they could build a team and let it work to catch up with the leaders of the space. It would be expensive, and take years, but if they find a strategic reason to do so, it could be done.
But there is no reason to believe that the current leaders in the space would be sitting on their hands the whole time, and would no doubt do what’s necessary to stay further out in front of google.
