Of all the ridiculous U.S.judicial litigations this one is certainly absurd.Almost 15 years to conclude that Aredondo is innocent in suspect presence parked at police station near Ted Kennedy's funeral.

Guy is strange. He was born Carlos Luis de Los Ángeles Arredondo Piedra, called himself Carlos Arredondo and changed his name to Alexander Brian Arredondo in 1996 but went by the name Carlos Arredondo in the Boston Marathon bombing.

CARLOS ARREDONDO: The costa rican media side of it
The day Boston event happened, and american media was focused on the "attacks", costa rican media was going ablaze with a story about the "costa rican hero" Carlos Arredondo, a costarican man who moved to the US and somehow lost BOTH of his kids, one of em in the Iraq war, and also happens to aid in this whole Boston thing and becomes a "hero".

Not much was said afterwards, until today when there's a news story in Costa Rica's biggest newspaper about Arredondo meeting with the President of Costa Rica.

The story is pretty uneventful, but the last sentence of it definitely makes me think, it ends like this:

"Mientas tanto, Carlos seguirá interpretando al “vaquero tico” para alejar de su mente y corazón el dolor por perder a sus dos hijos. "

Which literally translates to "for now, Carlos will continue to INTERPRET the role of the "costa rican cowboy" to distance his mind and heart from the pain of losing his two kids."

Anything that has been said about this guy in costarican media has been pretty heavily controlled, he hasn't been openly interviewed on camera, there was an online-chat held by the newspaper in which people were allowed to ask questions, which were handpicked by the admins, every question only served to sort of establish the Boston storyline.

The whole thing with this dude is pretty damn mysterious, I have a crazy theory that maybe he was allowed to become a crisis actor after having his two sons sacrificed, he did mention that once his son died in Iraq a new law was passed and he was the first person to be granted US citizenship from losing their child in the war, that confirms that some sort of special treatment and govt. involvement was given to him.
